Use the most specific type available. Do not use generic object photos when GPS place evidence or video context is the real requirement.

Common choices

  • Use object_photo for a billboard, poster, sign, package, product, or physical object, even if it happens to be at a known location.
  • Use place_video when the mission needs proof that the contributor was at a specific place and captured context around it.
  • Use retail_photo when the output is useful because it shows a commercial shelf, menu, stock, price, or display.
  • Use event_video when the output needs live activity, motion, a time-bound event, or a crowd.
  • Use egocentric_action_video when the contributor must perform an action from their own point of view.
